Shopping for a car in Harrison

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

A buyer's checklist

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Bridging the gap

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.
