Auto Loans in Haskell Corner, ME

Before you buy in Haskell Corner

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Buying smart in Ontario

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
