Shopping for a car in Hazel

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

A buyer's checklist

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

What we cover

Hazel is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. With Hazel about 1,384 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Questions about Hazel? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
