Shopping for a car in Hernando

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Buying smart in Ontario

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Before your next car arrives

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

Our area and Hernando

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Hernando is outside our area. Hernando lies about 1,339 km from central Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 80 km.

For buying in Hernando, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Shopping in Hernando? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Tell us what you need in Hernando, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Still deciding?

A week with the car can save a costly mistake: request it now.
