Buying a car in Hersman

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

A buyer's checklist

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Bridging the gap

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.
