Shopping for a car in High Bluff

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

What to check before you buy

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.
