Auto Loans in Howes

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

A buyer's checklist

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

A car meanwhile

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Distance, honestly

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Howes; we work from Toronto. Measured in a straight line, Howes is about 1,216 km from central Toronto; we deliver within about 80 km.

For buying in Howes, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Still have a question about Howes? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
