Auto Loans in Howth

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

A buyer's checklist

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Between cars

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
