Shopping for a car in Hunter

Shopping for a car in Hunter? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

A buyer's checklist

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

While you shop

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

What CarmaCars covers

We do not have a location in Hunter; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. Hunter lies about 1,589 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Send a request about Hunter, and we reply with a clear yes or no. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

When you know your dates

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
