Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Jack, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

A test drive that lasts

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Before you sign

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Between cars

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

Toronto based

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Jack. About 1,477 km from our location in Toronto, Jack is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. A request about Jack gets an honest answer from a person. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
