Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

A car meanwhile

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Where we work

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Kane. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Kane, about 1,538 km away, is beyond that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Kane? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Ask us about Kane in a request; a person answers honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
