Buying a car in Keldron

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

A buyer's checklist

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
