Shopping for a car in Killin

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

A buyer's checklist

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

A Toronto company

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Killin is outside our area. We deliver within about 80 km of Toronto. Killin, about 1,546 km away, is beyond that.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you still want to ask about Killin, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

One more step

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
