Buying a car in Lancing

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

What to check before you buy

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

A car meanwhile

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.
