Buying a car in Latcha

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Before your next car arrives

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Honest about Latcha

Latcha is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Latcha is roughly 422 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For anything about Latcha, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

One more step

Send a request to rent the model you are thinking of buying.
