Auto Loans for Lessie

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

What to check before you buy

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

Before your next car arrives

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
