Buying a car in Levy

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Buying smart in Ontario

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Levy is outside the area we serve. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Levy is about 1,294 km away.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Send a request with what you need in Levy, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
