Shopping for a car in Lime

Shopping for a car in Lime? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Buying smart in Ontario

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

While you shop

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Honest about distance

We are based in Toronto; Lime is not somewhere we have a location. Lime lies about 1,288 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

For buying in Lime, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are unsure whether we can help with Lime, ask; we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
