Buying a car in Limerick

Shopping for a car in Limerick? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Checks worth doing

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Between cars

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Honest about distance

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Limerick. Limerick lies about 1,338 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

For buying in Limerick, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you are planning in Limerick, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
