Buying a car in Lois

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

A buyer's checklist

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Bridging the gap

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
