Shopping for a car in Loomis

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

Before you plan around us

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Loomis? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Send a request with what you need in Loomis, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
