Auto Loans in Lyons, KS

Shopping for a car in Lyons

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Before you sign

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
