Buying a car in Marathon

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Buying smart in Ontario

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
