Auto Loans in Marathon

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Buying smart in Ontario

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

A car meanwhile

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

A note on distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Marathon. About 1,566 km separate our location in Toronto and Marathon, far past our 250 km delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. A request about Marathon gets an honest answer from a person. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
