Buying a car in Marco

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

What to check before you buy

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
