Buying a car in Markham

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

A buyer's checklist

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Between cars

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Where we deliver

There is no CarmaCars office, lot or branch in Markham. With Markham about 1,691 km from Toronto, it is outside the 80 km we cover.

For buying in Markham, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you still want to ask about Markham, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
