Auto Loans in Markhams, NY

Before you buy in Markhams

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Delivery to Markhams is part of the service, so the test drive starts at home.

Questions to ask

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

A car meanwhile

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
