Shopping for a car in Mayfield

Shopping for a car in Mayfield? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Before you sign

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

A car meanwhile

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Our area

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Mayfield. The distance is about 2,030 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Mayfield, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you still want to ask about Mayfield, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
