Buying a car in McComas

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

What to check before you buy

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Before your next car arrives

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

CarmaCars and McComas

We do not have a location in McComas; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. By straight line McComas is about 540 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in McComas? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are unsure whether we can help with McComas, ask; we answer plainly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
