Auto Loans in Mendon, MI

Before you buy in Mendon

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Checks worth doing

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

A car meanwhile

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
