Shopping for a car in Micmac

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Buying smart in Ontario

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Before your next car arrives

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Micmac is outside the area we serve. We deliver within about 80 km of Toronto. Micmac, about 1,350 km away, is beyond that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Micmac, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Tell us what you are planning in Micmac, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
