Shopping for a car in Middlesex

If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Before you sign

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Bridging the gap

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

CarmaCars and Middlesex

There is no CarmaCars location in Middlesex; everything we do starts in Toronto. The distance is about 745 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Unsure? Send a request about Middlesex, and we answer plainly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
