Shopping for a car in Miles

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

A buyer's checklist

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Honest about Miles

We are based in Toronto; Miles is not somewhere we have a location. About 2,097 km from our location in Toronto, Miles is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Shopping in Miles? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Ask us about Miles in a request; a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

When you know your dates

A rental request is free; the offer shows the full price.
