Buying a car in Millrace

If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

A car meanwhile

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

Where we are

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Millrace. At roughly 561 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Millrace is outside our delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Millrace, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Ask us about Millrace in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Ready when you are
