Buying a car in Mines

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Mines, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

What to check before you buy

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Between cars

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Reach and distance

Our only location is in Toronto; Mines is outside the area we serve. About 1,185 km in a straight line separate Mines from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Mines, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Send a request with what you need in Mines, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
