Buying a car in Mode

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

Before you sign

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

While you shop

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Where we work

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Mode. We rent from Toronto. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Mode is about 932 km away.

Shopping in Mode? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you are planning in Mode, and we will say what we can and cannot do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
