Buying a car in Modena

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Checks worth doing

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

While you shop

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

The short answer for Modena

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Modena is outside the area we serve. Modena is about 2,969 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Need something in Modena? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
