Buying a car in Moons

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Before you sign

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

While you shop

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

A note on distance

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Moons. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Moons is about 1,111 km out.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Unsure? Send a request about Moons, and we answer plainly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
