Buying a car in Moshers Corner

Shopping for a car in Moshers Corner? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

A buyer's checklist

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

A car meanwhile

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Honest about distance
