Shopping for a car in Munger

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Questions to ask

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Between cars

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

Where we deliver

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Munger. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Munger is about 1,093 km away.

For buying in Munger, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Tell us what you need in Munger, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
