Buying a car in Needmore

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Bridging the gap

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

The short answer for Needmore

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Needmore. About 1,500 km separate our location in Toronto and Needmore, far past our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Needmore? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. For anything about Needmore, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

One more step

Ask about renting first, and buy with a clear head.
