Shopping for a car in Nevada
CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.
Try it for a week first
Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.
Before you sign
In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.
Bridging the gap
You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
