Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

Shopping for a car in Old River? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Before you sign

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Bridging the gap

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.
