Buying a car in Oldfields

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

A car meanwhile

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
