Buying a car in Omar

Shopping for a car in Omar? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

What to check before you buy

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

A car meanwhile

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Omar is outside our area. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Omar is about 1,073 km out.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For buying in Omar, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Unsure? Send a request about Omar, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
