Shopping for a car in Osiris

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

A buyer's checklist

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

A car meanwhile

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
