Shopping for a car in Pankey

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

Before you sign

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

What CarmaCars covers

There is no CarmaCars location in Pankey; everything we do starts in Toronto. Pankey is about 1,504 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Questions about Pankey? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
