Auto Loans in Pape, MO

Shopping for a car in Pape

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

A buyer's checklist

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Between cars

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.
