Buying a car in Pardus

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

A car meanwhile

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Our area and Pardus

There is no CarmaCars office, lot or branch in Pardus. At roughly 292 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Pardus is outside our delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Pardus? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. For anything about Pardus, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
