Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Questions to ask

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

While you shop

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars has no branch in Pearson. We rent from one location in Toronto. About 1,383 km separate our location in Toronto and Pearson, far past our 250 km delivery area.
